Offshore Technology Conference 2018

GENERON is happy to announce a successful week of exhibiting and meeting with clients and colleagues at the 50^th Annual OTC, held at the NRG Center in Houston, Texas. Over sixty thousand attendees visited the event this week.

GENERON introduced two new products; an expandable bank-design PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) unit, and the newly designed, space saving Marine membrane unit.  The new design of membrane package eliminates many of the piping and flange connections, minimizing leak paths and installation effort, while providing the most efficient package of Nitrogen separation membranes to date.  The system comes in standard modules rated at 2250Nm³/hr each.  They can be site assembled into an existing ship’s engine room with no special equipment.

GENERON showed the newly patented solids management system at OTC.  The new technology comes from GENERON’s long-term partner in Malaysia – DPI Group.  This cyclonic system is designed to operate directly off the well head and eliminate sand from fouling downstream equipment. The system is offered in three pressure standards – 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 PSIG.

Additionally, GENERON showcased it’s methane/CO₂ membrane removal module.  This is a breakthrough technology designed to handle feed streams of up to 60 BAR and CO₂ concentrations up to 70%.

Also attending the event and displaying were GENERON affiliate companies, Texas Compressor Services, Houston Vessel Manufacturing, and Global Nitrogen Services.
