NITROGEN BLANKETING FOR FUEL OIL STORAGE TANK

GENERON, a leader in the design and manufacture of Nitrogen Generators, and their partner, Industrial and Oilfield Procurement Services, is pleased to announce the release of a new GENERON® Nitrogen Membrane and Compression System, which has been delivered for field service in Ghana, West Africa.

The system is a mobile, containerized system used for blanketing 16m x 54m storage tanks. GENERON is known for its designs of both, Membrane type and Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) type Nitrogen Systems.

This system was designed and constructed to deliver 95% pure Nitrogen at 100 psi and a flow rate of over 200 SCFM for nitrogen blanketing. This Nitrogen System is housed in a 20 foot container along with a 90kW compressor, receiver tanks, Oxygen analyzer, filtration system, and local control panel. A remote oxygen monitoring system provides feedback loop for concentration levels in the storage tank.
