GENERON Nitrogen Generators and Technical Support Help Major Athletic Shoe Manufacturer Meet Ongoing Demand

GENERON®  was eager to revisit our customer’s athletic shoe manufacturing facility in Missouri. At present, they operate two NOW Panels from the 6150 G2 series to provide nitrogen for their shoes’ air insoles. Generon’s role on this visit was to offer technical support by collaborating with the contractors tasked with onsite operations, ensuring the appropriate sizing of the lines that connect the NOW Panels to the nitrogen storage tank.

Generon was able to verify and show the shoe manufacturer the correct size of the airline feeding into the nitrogen storage tank, ensuring sufficient feed air to the NOW Panels. As well as confirming the additional automated control valves supplied by other contractors. Moreover, we highlighted the four manual valves currently installed, which effectively isolate any potential problems within the nitrogen process. The 6150 G2 Series NOW Panels include all the valves needed to meet the shoe manufacturer’s application parameters. After conducting comprehensive checks, we ensured that all systems were operating correctly and were ready for use.

With purities reaching 99.5% (or even higher upon request) and flow rates ranging from 975 SCFH to 5,158.8 SCFH, these two 6150 G2 series NOW Panels perfectly addressed the shoe manufacture’s immediate requirements for purity and flow. The NOW Panels’ compact design also accommodates the potential installation of a third NOW Panel, which the shoe manufacturer is contemplating as a backup to ensure they can consistently meet ongoing demand.

By collaborating closely with the shoe manufacturer and their contractors, the teamwork streamlined the process, and ensured optimal performance of the nitrogen system for their athletic shoe production.
