GENERON Highlights Nitrogen Generating NOW Panel Series at Best Air Practices & Food Processing Expo 2023

GENERON was glad to be back at McCormick Place in Chicago again in October. This time to meet with the professionals in the food and beverage industry. Many of whom were looking to find new solutions to improve their compressed air processes. Facility-generated nitrogen, unexpectedly, became the focal area of interest. Leading attendees to seek a better understanding of its advantages, versus relying on monthly cylinder shipments.

GENRON’s NOW Panel series is one of the spectrum of our N2 generating technologies currently used in the U.S. food and beverage industry. Depending on our customers’ nitrogen purity and flow requirements, GENERON aligns the product technology that best fits their needs. For example, one of our customers moved over from monthly cylinder shipments to using GENERON’s reliable NOW-6150 G-2, utilizing our superior membrane technology that we manufacture here in the U.S. This product was the right fit for their purity requirements within the range of 95% – 99.5%; and a nitrogen flow of 3,106 SCFH – 975 SCFH at 100 PSIG. This product selection also allows room to easily expand their N2 supply capabilities to keep in step with their growing business demands.

Better N2 Management

This immediately improved their N2 management by automating their supply and use of nitrogen. No longer having to give attention to the previous logistics and administrative responsibilities that come with cylinder supply contracts. Their purity was carefully controlled, and there was no shortage of nitrogen supply to be concerned with. It also greatly lowered safety risks by eliminating the need for hazardous storage and connections.

Cost Savings

With their monthly supply of 48 cylinders (annual cost of about $29,500) replaced with the NOW Panel, they were able to see savings up to 20% on their N2 supply in the first year; and up to 70% savings by the second year.
